WELCOME TO CATCH ATTENDANCE

At Catch High School, the mission is to provide opportunities for young people in academics, the arts, and technology so that a world of unlimited possibilities await them upon graduating from high school and attending college or starting a career.

We use data-driven methods to monitor and improve attendance, focusing on areas where prevention and early intervention are needed. Our three-tiered approach—prevention, early intervention, and intensive intervention—is designed to enhance individual and overall student attendance, engagement, achievement, and graduation rates.

Our counselors play a crucial role as advocates for child welfare and attendance. They work directly with students facing challenges that impact their academic potential due to social, emotional, home, or community issues. By addressing these barriers, our counselors help support students' academic progress, social-emotional well-being, and career development through improved attendance.

Regular attendance is a strong predictor of academic success from Kindergarten through 12th grade. It significantly influences on-time graduation and affects the resources and support our school can provide, such as teachers, supplies, technology, and additional student assistance.
